It’s been a process in the making, but Google has gradually been replacing Assistant with Gemini on a growing number of products. In January, we discovered through an APK teardown that Wear OS would be the next destination for Gemini’s expansion. That expansion is now about to start as Google prepares to integrate the AI into your smartwatch.

Today, Google officially announced that Gemini is headed to Wear OS devices. It may take some time before the AI arrives on your wrist, however, as Google says the rollout will happen in the coming months.
