Fixed in Media Composer v2019.8 The following have been fixed:
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3092. The text in the Source Settings dialog box was corrupted if you were in a Japanese locale.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3096. Adding an animated scale to a title text created with Avid Titler + resulted in jittery text.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3088. In some instances, when working with dual monitors, minimizing the application did not minimize the application in both windows.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3018. Importing .scc files toggled the input/output signal on the Avid Artist DNxIO.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-2878. In some instances, consolidating HD material in a UHD project would blackout a Quad Split client monitor.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3136. (Mac) Arrow keys and Command+W did not always respond when in the Marker window.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3046. Timeline video quality playback settings altered AVC Long-G color difference when transcoding full vs 10bit.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3063. You might have received “CDCIReader_Unkown_Compression_Type” error when trying to link and playback Telestream files in MXF OP-1A Prores HD format.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3094. You might have received “assertion failed “errors when trimming compressed stereo MP2 audio clips if audio scrubbing was enabled.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3156. (Mac) Video Satellite offset and delay fields changed from -1 to 4294967295 when re-opened.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3105. Shift + F10 to select a camera angle was not working properly.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3008. In some instances, vertical centering during image import were sometimes offset by one pixel.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3099. Playback stopped after adding a Mark IN/Mark Out in Script View Mode.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3116. You might have received a “filename already exists” message even when saving an export setting with a different file extension.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3155. You might have received an “assertion failed” error when opening a sequence with Dynamic Relink enabled.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3114. Logging into Media Central from Media Composer using % or & in the user name or password resulted in a “Requested time out” error.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-2990. It could take up to a few minutes when logging out from Production Management in Media Composer.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-2987. Markers ignored sync lock when using extended trim.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-2955. In some instances, pressing JKL intermittently scrubbed on its own, or did not stop when pressing K (pause).
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3106. Project metadata was not displayed in the Project column for linked then consolidated/transcoded media.
➤ Bug Number: MCDEV-11718. (Bin all views) You were able to create empty clip name using spaces.
➤ Bug Number: MCDEV-11729. The Mac Desktop Audio was muted on launch. This helps users who launch Media Composer while they are in the middle of a video call.
➤ Bug Number: MCDEV-11719. Timeline Track Color feature did not show color correctly.
➤ Bug Number: MCDEV-11749. Dragging a few selected clips in Frame Bin View to Timeline added clips in wrong order.
➤ Bug Number: . MCDEV-11370 Bins: Creating too long Bin View name caused an Assertion failed error message.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3123. The width of columns did not adjust to the clip or sequence name automatically.
➤ Bug Number: . COGS-5897: Timeline - Display tooltip when hovering over sequence name on bottom row.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3113. In some instances, the option “Set column for selected clips” was not available for selected clips.
➤ Bug Number: . MCDEV-10584 Adding a Custom Column worked incorrectly with an empty bin and columns cannot be rearranged.
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-3146. Using the Mark clip (default T key on the keyboard) did not work in Script view in a bin 2019.x. Note that other keys that were supported in previous releases are also included in this fix: E - Mark In Key R - Mark Out Key T - Mark Clip Key I - Mark In Key O - Mark Out Key D - Clear In Key F- Clear Out Key G - Clear Both Key
➤ Bug Number: MCCET-2926. Zoom into Region was not visible on all tracks.
